THE ESPACE F1 (claps !!!!)
This “MPV” was a one-off Panty Smasher , to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Espace and Renault in Formula 1 . It had a upgraded Renault RS5 V10 3500cc 40-Valve Williams-Renault FW15C engine 800bhp / 597kW ( originally 700bhp). That is 228.6 BHP per-liter and a semi-automatic transmission of the Williams-Renault FW15C .The Espace F1 weighs 1300kgs, is 443 cm long and 205 cm wide. Based on Espace J63 body reinforced with lightweight carbon-fiber instead of the glass fiber of the standard model. The Renault-Williams engine powered it from 0-200 km/h in 6 seconds, and helped by the carbon brakes, it did 0-270 km/h and back to 0 in under 600 meters. No , I did not miss-out on the acceleration part. I just wanted to save the best part for the last it did 0-100km/h in 2.896 seconds and had a top speed of over 300kmph . I really wish Renault replicates such one off panty smashers again , oh and for the girls who need an orgasm you can find this car on Gran Turismo 2 😉
Hello everyone, this is Namba from the Subaru Design Department.
Today I would like to talk about the WRX Concept that has been unveiled at the New York Auto Show here, and touch on its key design concepts.
I would like to start from the front of the vehicle. This concept features in detail Subaru’s traditional family hexagon grille and the new hawk-eye headlights. Mounting these lower and wider helps to reinforce the power that this vehicle is capable of.
The bonnet intake and the central bumper intake are vital in representing sure-fire turbo performance that is available. The grille and headlights are now more lengthy and protracted, which reinforce the pulled-back design and implied stability.
Let’s now move around to the side. The flared front and rear wheel arches that define the WRX are still visible here, complete with a revised, modern design. From the side, the 20-inch wheels take a pivotal role for hinting at how well the vehicle has been designed.
Smooth coupe-styling is bolstered with a carbon-fibre roof. The overall profile hints at the speed and agility of this concept. The side outlet vents that are characteristic of the WRX have been included again, this time with a more modern touch.
And now on to the rear. The pure speed of the concept is characterised by the sharp edge of the boot at the rear, which also gives it a sharper look. The silhouette that begins with the front hexagon grille extends cleanly through to the rear hexagon.
The wide-profile of the tail lights exudes the concept’s stability and low-centre of gravity. This is further enhanced by the lower diffuser beneath the rear bumper, with its aerodynamic performance and pure functionality.
The four tail-pipes here suggest the underlying performance of the concept, while the yellow rings here match the wheel callipers and the front WRX grille badge.
The “WR Blue III” body colour that has been used with the concept is extremely vibrant to suit overall feel of the New York Auto Show, and oozes pure performance. This wraps up my outline of the WRX concept.

In a statement released on Friday, Guinness World Records, the British-based company which is recognised as the authority on world record attempts, confirmed that the suspicions were correct. “It has come to the attention of Guinness World Records that there was an oversight in its adjudication of the ‘Fastest production car’ which was set in 2010 by the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Super Sport,” said Jaime Strang, PR Director of the company.
“As the car’s speed limiter was deactivated, this modification was against the official guidelines. Consequently, the vehicle’s record set at 431.072 km/h is no longer valid. Following this, Guinness World Records is reviewing this category with expert external consultants to ensure our records fairly reflect achievements in this field.”
The company’s rules state that that the car that sets the record must be mechanically identical to those on sale to the public. The announcement is likely to mean that the title of the world’s fastest production car now reverts to a small company in America, called Shelby SuperCars. Its Ultimate Aero held the record of 256.1mph before the Veyron Super Sport.
Questions about Bugatti’s record were raised by another American car maker, Hennessey, which claims that its Venom GT should be the fastest production car in the world. It has been clocked at 265.7mph but has not recorded a speed under world record conditions, which require an average speed to be set over two timed runs.
Bugatti is standing by its world record. A spokeswoman said, “Guinness knew the Veyron’s speed limiter was deactivated but that for safety reasons, cars subsequently sold to customers would have their speed limiters activated [set at 258mph].”
The spokeswoman said that customers who bought the Veyron Super Sport will have been told it was the world’s fastest production car but insisted the model’s reputation would be safe. “It’s not a hard blow if we lose this title. The Super Sport is more than just a world-record car.”
Bugatti said it would be seeking clarification from Guinness World Records.

Looks like this is BMW 3-series in Beast Mode , actually it is .This is the new 3 series GT. Taking some muscle from the 5 series GT . Its longer , taller & wider that the conventional (F30) 3-Series and is something in between the saloon and the touring model. Its 4824mm long, 1828mm wide and 1508mm high, the 3-series GT is 200mm longer, 17mm wider and 79mm taller than the 3-series Touring(which is not available in India). The wheelbase is 110mm longer at 2920mm, the best part is ,it has 70mm more legroom for rear passenger, when compared directly to the (F10) 5-series saloon. The boot capacity is also increased in the 3-series GT over the 3-series Touring by 25 litres its now , wait for it 520 Mammoth liters.
The 3 series GT is offered with 5 engine options in the UK which also includes the 335i , which punches out 302BHP and does 0-60 in 5.4seconds equipped with the standard eight-speed automatic gearbox , the other engines have six-speed manual as standard, with the eight-speed automatic as an option . The line-up of the rear wheel drive 3-series GT includes three petrol models (320i, 328i and 335i) and two diesels (318d and 320d). A turbocharged 2.0-litre petrol engine is offered with 181bhp in the 320i and 242bhp in the 328i.The 3series GT will be priced around £1500 more than an equivalent 3-series Touring model.
I think BWM will launch the 3-Series GT in India , and yes expect the 335i to be a part of that family considering the 328i saloon is already here. I just cant wait to see this beauty on the road , I just hope the poor sales figure of the 5 series GT don’t interfere here .This is an exciting car and India needs such flexible products. Hope BMW India is reading this ,Please give us the 3-Series GT ,not that I’m going to buy one (all my pants are without pockets, yes its true) but yes I’ll thank you every time I see one on the road.

The new Hyundai Santa Fe came out as the best-in-class, making it one of the safest vehicles ever tested & the best in the ‘Large Off-Road 4×4’ segment , tested in 2012 By Euro NCAP (New Car Assessment Program) – ahead of the Mercedes-Benz M-Class which starts at around 57 Lakhs for the ML250 , the V6 ML350 is way more expensive & New Range Rover which costs a whooping 1.72crores
The Santa Fe scored 96% in adult occupant protection and scored full marks in the side barrier test.
In the child occupant and safety assist categories, the Hyundai SUV came out with 89% and 86% respectively
